Vehicle Technician / Auto-electrician Wolverhampton
Are you an experienced Motor Technician with a proven track record?
The Position:
- Full-time Vehicle Technician/ Auto-electrician with immediate start!
Hours:
- The position is Monday to Friday 8.30 to 18.00 and alternate Saturdays (if required)
The Successful Candidate:
- You will be required to complete jobs to the highest possible standard and be able to do so efficiently
- You will need to be capable of working on your own, providing accurate diagnosis/fault-finding and be able to take a job from start to finish with excellent attention to detail.
- You must hold a valid driving license and have your own tools.
Duties / responsibilities will include:
- Servicing a variety of makes and models
- Repairs to most makes and models
- Cam-belt replacement on a variety of engines
- Tyre fitting, brakes, suspension, clutches etc
- Good customer handling skills for occasional customer contact to provide information
- Diagnosis of simple and complex issues on various makes and models
- Carrying out test drives on vehicles to diagnose existing faults
- Ability to deal with simple and complex repairs to various makes and model
- Ability to work to tight time frames, Be determined and enthusiastic, driven by a desire to succeed in our thriving company
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be a qualified MOT tester or be willing and able to complete MOT tester training
- Building effective working relationships with colleagues built on communication, sharing expertise and trust
- Ability to use computer equipment and up to date diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work as part of a small team ensuring the efficient running of the workshop
- Willingness to keep their working environment clean and tidy

Salary:
- £20,502.00 – £30,000.00 per year
- Salary is negotiable and depending on experience
